Father Hennepin Bluff Park- Native American Listening Session & Walk

This meeting will begin at the Pillsbury A Mill Gallery Space, with a short walk around Father Hennepin within the meeting. There will be food from Gatherings Cafe provided by the MPRB, as well as songs and drumming from the Native American members. There will be a bdote memory map, and several community members sharing stories about this sacred place. 

 

Father Hennepin Bluff Park is a regional park that will connect people to the Mississippi River, restore and enhance natural resources, reveal and interpret past and present nature and culture, engage visitors and adapt to changing social, economic and ecological realities. The MPRB is in the initial stages of gathering input from residents on how to best improve the park for all visitors.
