River Bells Carillon Festival May 4th at 1 pm
River Bells Carillon Festival on May 4 at 1pm. The festival will be held on the block of the First Congregational Church on 8th Ave. SE between 5th St. SE and 6th St. SE. In case of rain, the festival will move inside the church.
The festival, funded by a grant from the University of Minnesota’s TCF Bank Stadium Good Neighbor Fund, affords an opportunity to build relationships between University of Minnesota students, staff and area residents to strengthen the community of neighborhoods around the University. Would you like to help support your community library? We are currently creating the Friends of Southeast Library group. This will be a volunteer-run organization supported by Friends of the Hennepin County Library (FHCL). FHCL is a private, non-profit dedicated to supporting all 41 Hennepin County Libraries and their local Friends groups. Friends groups work closely with their local community library and librarians.
